Asplenium nidus 'Dakila' - fern with wavy leaves
Asplenium nidus 'Dakila' is a spectacular cultivar from the group of ferns commonly known as Bird's Nest Fern (Bird's Nest Fern). It stands out for its long, light-green leaves with strongly wavy or crinkled margins, arranged in a broad rosette around the center of the plant. 'Dakila' is also marketed and documented horticulturally as a variety within the Asplenium nidus.
Unlike the classic forms of Asplenium nidus, with almost straight leaves, 'Dakila' has much more textured foliage, giving it volume and a lush appearance. New leaves develop from the center of the rosette, so this area must be protected and should not be covered with substrate.

📌 Note: The shape, length, degree of curling, and position of the leaves may naturally vary from one specimen to another. Plants may be delivered with fuller or sparser foliage, depending on their stage of development and the season. Fern leaves are delicate and may have dry tips or edges, small tears, bends, spots, or other cosmetic imperfections resulting from growth, handling, transport, or the plant’s adaptation to the new environmental conditions. These factors do not affect the plant’s viability, which may continue to produce new leaves from the center of the rosette.
