Vanda orchid care instructions
Placement: Bright place, sheltered from strong sunlight
Watering: Twice a week, fill the glass container with water until the orchid roots are covered. After half an hour, empty the water container.
Characteristics: The Vanda orchid is a spectacular plant that requires minimal care.
Vanda blooms 2-3 times a year in a favorable environment. It prefers a place with high humidity, but lack of moisture in the air can be compensated by spraying the roots every few days. It is a spectacular plant that needs minimal care.
Care after flowering
After the flower dries, cut the old branch completely. If there is enough light, Vanda can bloom again six months after the last flowering. The new flower will appear between the leaves above the old branch.
In summer, Vanda can be placed in the garden in the shade, where it will need no care. However, the outside temperature must remain above 8 °C.
The plant can then be hung on a tree without a vase, for example. The plant should not be sprayed regularly during a long dry and sunny period.
