Lechuza Pon is an inorganic plant substrate, suitable for both indoor and outdoor plants, even recommended for orchids and citrus. This substrate contains zeolite, German pumice stone, lava, and a high-quality NPK mineral fertilizer, making it the perfect alternative in places where conventional soil cannot or should not be used.
Advantages of using Lechuza Pon substrate:
- has the optimal air/water ratio for plants: 45% water/55% air;
- suitable for all plants;
- is made of high-quality mineral stones, free of contamination and pollutants;
- lasts for years, being structurally stable;
- does not cause condensation;
- retains its air-permeable structure;
- can be used for years without needing replacement;
- protects - plants placed in the substrate have high cold resistance in winter;
- stores nutrients and water, acting as a buffer that absorbs excess fertilizer and returns it to the plant when needed - fertilization errors are balanced;
- the included zeolite is a natural odor absorber (such as from dead roots) and a fungus blocker that can attack roots - therefore, PON is suitable for allergy sufferers;
- has continuous capillary action, drawing water up to the plant surface - even small and rooted plants receive the perfect amount of water;
- the lava content continuously supplies iron to the plants;
- maintains the ideal pH balance in the LECHUZA planter to allow healthy growth;
- ensures balanced nutrient distribution to the roots - through this supply, the plant builds a consistent and compact root spread, making the plant more robust;
- no need to completely release the root ball from the soil when planting;
- high-quality fertilizer, fully coated;
- decomposes without leaving residues;
- provides nutrients for up to 6 months;
- suitable for all plants, including green and flowering ones - such as orchids, citrus, herbs, tomatoes, fruit trees, cacti, bonsais, and many more.
